Exploring the mystery of Phi

The Phi ratio is written as 1:1.618, takes the form of a logarithmic spiral, and is seen in forces of nature; weather patterns, celestial movement, biological growth, water down a drain, dust in the wind, animal and human anatomy, and even the pentameter of a beating human heart. Understanding why and how these certain relationships of phi happen in nature keeps me interested in the world around me and makes me feel like a child always discovering something new for the first time.
